The service was good. That's basically the only positive review I can give to this place. The food looked really good when served and I was very excited to try. Then the dissapointment. I ordered sword fish with beans and creamy spinach. The fish had very strong unpleasant smell. I love sword fish and had many times before, but nothing compares to this one here. Not tasty at all. The beans were just boiled,no flavour added. If you buy Heinz baked beans they have so much more taste than the ones I had. Then the creamy spinach had some so distinctive flavour added to it,that it was impossible to eat. They put either anyseed or something similar which actually doesn't belong there,or at least is something that you wouldn't expect the creamy spinach to taste like. Of course,that wasn't mentioned in the menu. I personally can't stand that spice, therefore I felt like I need to throw up. By far the worst dinner I had. I was extremely dissapointed. If you like very bland food though, you may enjoy. My friend ate sirloin steak,he said it was okay but he also left quite a bit of food in his plate. Eventually we left and headed towards a pizza place to eat because we left hungry.
Good and likable local restaurant. Menu point - and food effectively served. A great place for three courses and good French wines.
