The place is huge! Nice decor. We went in the afternoon and it was quite great to have a drink there while it's raining outside. Music was nice - rock and metal mostly. A bit expensive but not that much compared to other pubs around.
What a lovely place! The atmosphere is so old school. Looks like the kind of place you would see Benedict Cumberbatch as Sherlock having a drink with Dr Watson. For London prices, not too bad. It's placed right next to the underground too so it's nice and easy to find.
The first place most tourists experience in Camden (its dead opposite the the tube station). Good boozer, good venue downstairs. Normally pretty decent music being played too. Haven't tried the food yet.
Wonderful pub with 2 distinct sections, the main bar area which is large and good for groups - and the smaller, cosier side bar area which looks more like a traditional pub. Despite it's interior, it's not uncommon for the music to be metal (it is Camden after all) which is great in my opinion. Our last visit there was a great DJ set. Staff are friendly and really quite efficient so you'll never be waiting too long to be served compared to some places. Prices are average, if not slightly more expensive than other bars in the immediate vicinity around the station
Firstly, I found this pub a bit out of my comfort zone. But.. And it's a huge but. It was an amazing experience. Loved. Live music. Really cool staff. Great beer, if a bit pricey. From flag stone flooring to designer pieces scattered around. I was awe struck. Brilliant
