Buzzing pub with decent food and eclectic clientele. Don't be put off by it being a bit of a rock'n'roll 'destination' although it can have it's fair share of tourists The Hawley is still a 'proper boozer' and oozes character. Proper London, proper Camden. It's great pubs like this still exist in 2019.
Visited this weekend & although it was a busy Saturday afternoon - the staff were brilliant & our food & drink all arrived in good time! Lively atmosphere & lovely decor!
It usually depends on the day. Sometimes it is an amazing pub with nice music and friendly people dancing all together, but some other times it can be an ordinary pub. Nice heated garden on 1st floor
Me and a couple of friends (first time to Camden) called in at the Hawley arms in Camden in Saturday night. When we arrived we were met at the door by a very friendly doorman who made us feel very welcome. After a few drinks in the impressive surroundings we unfortunately had to leave. Saying bye to the doorman (Roy) he gave us safe directions back to our hotel. From the warm welcome to the safe goodbye we will be back soon when we return to the area.
Sorry about that! I meant to put in 5 stars! Been to the Hawley Arms Quite a few times, enjoyed ever minute of it , Friendly staff, good food and a great jukebox! Was there for New Years Eve , not a fan of New Years Eve, But bloody Loved on Monday, Definitely back again at some point. Like I said sorry about that !
